JLL provides facilities management and operations services to Mecklenburg County

JLL’s IFM and industry expertise will benefit the county’s 31 properties amounting to nearly 2.4 million square feet

CHARLOTTE, March 21, 2023 – JLL announced today that it is delivering integrated facilities management (IFM) and operations services for the County of Mecklenburg, a political subdivision of the State of North Carolina, through its Asset and Facility Management Department. The partnership is already operational and includes 31 properties totalling nearly 2.4 million square feet.

Mecklenburg County, located in southwestern North Carolina, is home to more than 1.1 million residents and comprising nearly five-thousand county employees. This contract enables the county to utilize JLL to create efficiencies and maintain the integrity of the building operating systems while delivering comprehensive services. JLL is providing strategic IFM, general building repair and maintenance, security systems operations and maintenance, custodial services, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, elevator, HVAC and grounds maintenance to 31 properties totalling 2,396,290 square feet.
