CHICAGO, Jan. 17, 2023 – JLL announced today that it has promoted Amanda Kross to Americas Regional Growth Lead for its Global Consulting business. Effective immediately, Kross is now responsible for working across the Americas region to increase JLL’s impact of creating a better world of work through advisory services.

Kross’s promotion comes at a critical time when, according to JLL’s latest research, hybrid is the new normal yet employers and employees are still defining and grappling with new expectations around work. JLL’s Work Dynamics Global Consulting practice focuses on solving the challenges standing in the way of clients’ growth objectives and creating and managing a dynamic workplace and workforce. Team members expertly advise clients on everything from the Future of Work, the built environment and employee experience to emerging technologies like generative AI and its applications.

Kross has been an integral part of the JLL Global Consulting since 2017. A firm believer in treating real estate as a catalyst for business success, she’s amassed more than 15 years of experience developing integrated space, service and organizational solutions that improve business operations, employee performance and customer experience.

We have an incredibly strong consulting practice in the Americas,” Kross said. “My goal is to bring that transformational work to more clients – across industries and asset types – to continue to reimagine how we work, live and play in a post-pandemic world.”

Prior to this role, Kross led JLL’s America’s People Experience team for Global Consulting – a team she helped establish – and expanded JLL’s capabilities and thought leadership. Kross previously worked as a Director at brightspot strategy, where she worked with museums, libraries and universities to design user experience, and Workplace Strategist at DEGW, where she ran workplace transformation projects for the pharmaceutical, government and technology sectors.

“Amanda did an incredible job running our Americas People Experience Team,” said Mark Holmstrom, Global Head of Consulting, Work Dynamics, JLL. “Under her guidance, we witnessed remarkable growth, and she has been a driving force behind our Human Centered Design program, spearheading its implementation in 2023. I’m excited to see what she accomplishes as the Americas lead.”

Kross received her bachelor’s degree in design and environmental analysis from Cornell University, where she returns often to lecture on design management and strategy. She is also a LEED-accredited professional.

JLL’s Work Dynamics business delivers advisory-led and integrated services in response to clients’ corporate sustainability, talent and resilience ambitions. Work Dynamics also shapes a better world of work by partnering with leading organizations across industry sectors to use technology to leverage data-driven insights to achieve client’s outcomes by dynamically serving an evolving market.
