JLL makes Working Mother ‘100 Best Companies’ list

Firm recognized for female advancement and workforce diversity for second consecutive year

CHICAGO, Sept. 25, 2018 – Working Mother magazine today recognized JLL (NYSE: JLL) as one of the 2018 Working Mother 100 Best Companies for strong leadership in the areas of female career advancement, flexibility, benefits, childcare assistance and paid parental leave.

"Diversity and inclusion are foundational elements within the culture of JLL," said Mary Bilbrey, Americas Chief Human Resources Officer. "All of our 28,000 Americas employees bring unique perspective, experience and knowledge to their positions. Whether it's our flexible work arrangements or a variety of benefits for varying needs, we're proud to create an environment where all employees can achieve their ambitions."

A leader in diversity and inclusion, JLL is the only commercial real estate company on the list. JLL's total number of female professionals and executive-level employees far surpasses the industry average. Women hold 40 percent of seats on the company's board of directors – more than twice the average of the Fortune 1,000 – and the company has developed and tailored programs enabling its diverse workforce to thrive.

The company's flex time and parental leave policies exceed the national average, and as part of JLL's Parent Experience, the company's employee assistance program provides organizational tools, parenting tips and support to help find reliable childcare. These and other company initiatives have garnered additional accolades including Fortune's 2018 Most Admired Companies and LinkedIn's 2018 Top Companies.

Working Mother Editor-in-Chief Meredith Bodgas said, "This year's 100 Best Companies continue to strive for excellence when it comes to providing a work environment that is not only woman-friendly, but also parent-friendly. By offering flexible schedules, paid parental leave, post-leave phase-back periods, adoption and surrogacy financial assistance, and mentoring programs, these companies address working parents' and caregivers' needs head-on and help them succeed at work and home."

Clients and third-party organizations continue to recognize JLL globally for its ethics, corporate citizenship and commitment to being an employer of choice. JLL has received the following U.S. and global awards in the past year:
