JLL Expands Property Management Team in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, February 27, 2019 – JLL has appointed Jason Smith to Vice President, Operations for JLL’s Property Management Team in San Francisco. In his new role, Smith is responsible for overseeing the execution of local market requirements, client specific deliverables, national initiatives, and administrative audits.

JLL’s Northern California Property Management team focuses on operational efficiencies, developing client specific processes, and ensuring consistent workplace experience throughout the Northern California region.

Smith has over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate. Prior to his current role, he was the General Manager for 101 Montgomery Street and 425 California Street, the Property Manager for the Transamerica Pyramid Center, and a commercial real estate manager for various high-rise office buildings in San Francisco including 475 Sansome, 543 Howard Street, and 131-141 Steuart Street.

Smith received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Science in Management & Human Resources from Cal Poly University. He is a Director for the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of IREM, and an active member of BOMA San Francisco. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker, holds the designations of Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Real Property Administrator (RPA), and is a LEED Green Associate.
