JLL awarded DC’s Business Attraction Ambassador Award

WASHINGTON, Jan. 26 2024 - JLL announced today it has been awarded the inaugural Business Attraction Ambassador Award given by Destination DC and in partnership with the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED). Deputy Mayor Nina Albert presented the award, which recognizes JLL as a champion for promoting DC as a place to do business, to Chris Molivadas, Mid-Atlantic Lead of JLL at a celebratory luncheon at the Riggs Hotel.

“It is my absolute honor to accept this award on behalf of JLL and all my hardworking colleagues who love our nation’s capital and call this great city home,” stated Molivadas. “We are fortunate to have a Mayor and Deputy Mayor who are allies to the business community and put in place innovative programs that enable our clients to grow and thrive in DC.”

Two JLL clients, Virtru, a data-encryption technology company, and Quadrant Strategies, a research-driven consultancy, recently leased new office space in the District. Both companies took advantage of the Vitality Fund incentive program which provides multi-year, performance-based grants to companies that relocate to or expand in DC and create new jobs.
