October 30, 2019

CHICAGO, October 30, 2019 – Today, JLL announced the appointment of Liz Van Dyke, a former associate partner with IBM, to head-up its Public Institutions technology business. Based in Washington, D.C., Van Dyke will lead JLL’s efforts to help public institutions embrace digital tools to transform the way they use and manage real estate.

“Government agencies have a tremendous opportunity to unlock efficiencies and create new value from their real estate portfolios with digital tools,” said Kevin Wayer, President of Public Sector and Higher Education, JLL. “With her experience shaping market strategies, combined with extensive knowledge of government and emerging technologies, Liz will play a key role in helping us deliver cutting-edge technology solutions to public institutions.”

Van Dyke joins JLL with 18 years of experience in government. Most recently, she led IBM’s Global Government Industry team. In that role, she integrated multiple IBM services and product brands to deliver high-impact, coordinated solutions for government clients in more than six segments, including defense; public safety and policing; health and human services; national infrastructure; customs and tax; and education. During her time at IBM, Van Dyke also led complex engagements for multiple government agencies, including the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), National Science Foundation and Department of Veteran’s Affairs.

“Technology is driving fundamental changes in the way government agencies operate, and those who embrace new digital tools to manage their real estate portfolios will drive significant value for taxpayers and government employees alike,” said Van Dyke. “I’m looking forward to bringing JLL’s innovative real estate technology solutions to the public sector where I have dedicated my career for nearly two decades.”

Van Dyke has a master’s in business administration from Georgetown University, and a bachelor’s in business administration in finance from the College of William and Mary. She also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute.
