JLL bolsters experience services and facilities management leadership with two key hires that bring 50 years of combined industry experience
Cheryl Carron and Helena Skjeld will lead global and EMEA experience services and facilities management operations for the company’s Corporate Solutions business
CHICAGO & LONDON, May 19, 2021 – JLL today announced two strategic hires for its Corporate Solutions business that further enhance its experience services and facilities management capabilities. Cheryl Carron joins JLL as Global Operations Lead, Experience Services and Facilities Management, and Helena Skjeld joins as EMEA Operations Lead, Experience Services and Facilities Management. Together, these two industry veterans have a combined 50 years of real estate and facilities management experience, working across a diverse set of industries and geographies.

Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and reporting directly to Braasch, Carron will lead a global team of experts responsible for adapting JLL’s global experience services and facilities management products for clients’ local, regional and global portfolios.
Based in Malmo, Sweden and reporting directly to Carron, Skjeld will lead delivery for all experience and facilities management products across EMEA. Additionally, she will be responsible for advancing JLL’s talent strategy in the critical field of experience services and facilities management within the region.
Most recently, Carron served as the President of Sodexo’s Integrated Facilities Management business for North America. Prior, Carron served as Vice President and Senior Managing Director at CBRE, and also held several global senior leadership roles at Johnson Controls, including global operations, sales and general management. As a member of IFMA, Caron has served as a coach, panelist and speaker at various industry events. For more than a decade, she has served on the board of United Way of Milwaukee and Waukesha County and was previously Co-Chair for the Women's Leadership Council, where she remains a member. She also serves on the executive board of the Milwaukee Ballet.
Skjeld was most recently the Director of Services at the Scania Region in Sweden, where she was responsible for all facilities management and experience services to all hospitals and clinics. Before that, she held a position as the Global Facility Manager for IKEA, responsible for the creation, strategic development and business transformation for the company’s facilities management business in 27 countries. Skjeld is also a member of the IFMA EMEA advisory board, serving as a Fellow since 2012. She also previously served as Chairman for IFMA Sweden and was part of the Global IFMA and EuroFM boards.
