JLL adds multifamily expertise in Southern California

LOS ANGELES, January 7, 2019 – JLL continued expanding its multifamily expertise in Southern California, announcing today that it hired Chris Benton as Senior Vice President. Benton will work in the firm's Century City, California office and will continue his specialization of advising institutional investors on the sale of their multifamily assets.

Benton’s hire will serve as a building block and represents a commitment by JLL as the firm looks to grow its multifamily business in Southern California. Benton will partner with Managing Director David Martin and other JLL professionals in the region, to fully leverage the firm’s Western US multifamily platform.

Most recently a Director at a global commercial real estate firm, Benton has nearly 15 years of experience in multifamily real estate sales in the Los Angeles area. Throughout his career, he has secured transactions valued at over $3 billion. Benton is a lifelong resident of Los Angeles and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado.
