It’s not just peer relationships, employees miss the actual office and the culture it provides

JLL to launch InTouch in response to study, meeting the increasing demand for connectivity

September 29, 2020

CHICAGO, September 29, 2020 – Shelter in place orders sent many office workers home, and now they are pining for various aspects of office-life. To better support telecommuting and remote workers, JLL Experience Management (XM) is launching InTouch, a virtual tenant and employee engagement service designed to reconnect people to their workplace.

“The demand for connectivity in the workplace is greater than ever before,” says Tom Larance, Head of Experience Management at JLL. “It’s imperative during the pandemic to continue cultivating a healthy, positive work culture and community, and InTouch will help investors of office buildings adapt and evolve traditional tenant engagement offerings. We’re bridging the gap between employees and their workspaces while working remote.”

In a survey of 3,000 office workers, JLL found that “human interactions” and a “professional environment” is what employees miss the most while working remotely. InTouch offers virtual programming that meets those needs, with personalized content and programming tailored to specific geographies, building communities and preferences.

InTouch allows building owners to recreate the atmosphere of the office virtually. The program’s key features offer experiences including live-streamed exercise, meditation and wellness programs and happy hours; interactive webinars, tutorials and DIY projects; exclusive webinars featuring celebrity guest appearances; and culture-building activities such as trivia, in-home mixology classes and more.

“InTouch will continuously evolve with more features added as the market continues to adapt to virtual programming,” continues Larance.

JLL Experience Management’s programs are strategically crafted to boost happiness, improve tenant loyalty, harness data to increase productivity and drum-up revenue opportunities. Additionally, the JLL Experience Management team is positioned across 60 locations in the United States, executing over 4,200 programs and events per year that are tailored specifically to each client’s needs.
