City + Ventures secures two tenants at Southlake Office Park

JLL successfully negotiates leases with Essense of Australia and Education Dynamics

KANSAS CITY, July 9, 2020 – JLL announced the successful negotiation of two leases at Southlake Office Park on behalf of owner and developer City+Ventures. The 300-acre, eleven-building office and technology park is located along College Boulevard from Interstate 35 to Renner Boulevard in Lenexa, Kansas, 18 miles southwest of Downtown Kansas City.

Essense of Australia, a leading international bridal design house and wholesaler of award-winning gowns for independent bridal retailers, has agreed to renew and expansion for their corporate headquarters, increasing their footprint from 60,000 to 90,000 square feet.

Education Dynamics, a trusted, industry leader in achieving enrollments goals for colleges and universities, has also agreed to renew, refresh and expand their 25,000-square-foot office.

JLL’s Kansas City Office Leasing team of RJ Trowbridge, Jeff Kembel, Patrick Meraz and Isabelle Shaw represented City+Ventures in the negotiations. AREA Real Estate Advisors’ Mike Levitan represented Essense of Australia and CBRE’s Bob Fagan and Matt Eckert represented Education Dynamics.

The park has an on-site daycare center, on-site management office, the Lenexa Conference Center and the Lenexa Chamber of Commerce, and is strategically located in the center of Johnson County with easy access to I-35, I-435 and K-10 Highways.

Current amenities include a three-mile walking trail, ten well-stocked ponds, redundant high-speed fiber and dual power feeds. New amenities and upgrades to the properties have commenced construction this year, including Class A common areas and tenant finishes, new monument signage for the entire park, new exterior painting of the Tech Center buildings, updated landscaping and the development of interior land sites with complimentary uses for the existing office tenants.
