BPM signs two office tenants to Portland’s Block 216 building via JLL
Deals for tenant Davis Wright Tremaine and private equity firm Banneker Partners complement imminent opening of hotel, residential condominiums, retail, F&B partners
BPM Real Estate Group today announced that its new 35-story Block 216 mixed-use property has signed leases to two office tenants, signaling further momentum for the office, hotel, condominium, and retail project in Portland’s popular West End neighborhood. The office leasing is in addition to the previously announced lease up of all the ground floor retail space for food hall and Packouz Jewelers/Rolex.
Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, a leading national law firm with a century-long presence in Portland, has signed on as the anchor tenant, taking just over 19,100 square feet of the 7th floor, the top-most available for office tenants. San Francisco-based private equity firm Banneker Partners has leased 4,545 square feet of space on the fourth floor, overlooking 10th Avenue and the entry into the Pearl District.
Davis Wright Tremaine was advised by the Portland office of JLL and by Century Pacific in Seattle. JLL is also the leasing agent for the office building. Banneker was represented by Kevin Joshi of Kidder Matthews.
With office space located on floors 3 through 7, Block 216 presents an innovative workplace with amenities and on-site options unlike other buildings. Floors 5 and 6 can be configured as contiguous space for companies seeking up to 67,256 square feet. The 4th floor is a multi-tenant floor for smaller footprint needs.
