Government real estate expert strengthens JLL Public Institutions team

Kameshia Freeman will provide solutions development to public sector clients nationally

CHICAGO, Nov. 4, 2021 – JLL Public Institutions today announces Kameshia Freeman joins as Senior Vice President, Public Institutions. Freeman will provide solutions development by building on JLL Public Institution’s national client base and leading performance in the public sector.

Prior to joining JLL, Freeman served as Chief Operating Officer at a Dallas-based commercial real estate firm, while simultaneously serving as advisor for a private equity firm. Freeman also spent 21 years with the federal government, which included holding the role of Director for the Center for Broker Services in the Office of Leasing with the General Services Administration (GSA).

Freeman is a cum laude graduate from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics. In 2003, she received her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Dallas Baptist University. Freeman holds a Real Property Administrator designation through Building Owners and Managers Institute International (BOMA) and is a licensed realtor in Texas.

Freeman has received numerous awards and served on several regional and national committees. Under her leadership, her prior team was a recipient of the 2020 GSA Acquisition Innovation in Action Award for the development of GSA Leasing Support Services (GLS) Plus broker contract. In addition, they were also the recipients of the 2016 Project Management Award and the 2016 Real Property Innovation Special Achievement Award for GSA’s predecessor broker contract, GLS. Freeman was also recognized for her support in New Orleans during the Hurricane Katrina disaster relief efforts.
