Pianist uses expertise in Technology Infrastructure at JLL
Jenna Ferrazzo applies principals from classical music training to excel in technology
Jenna Ferrazzo never imagined her classical music training would lead to a career in technology, but her curiosity landed her in a Technology Infrastructure role after she met Jason Lund, Managing Director of Property Management Technology. Jenna immediately became fascinated with the intricacies of technology at JLL after her conversation with Jason – and the rest is history.
Education was a foundational part of Jenna’s upbringing. From homeschooling focused on arts and literature to helping her Dad with electrical projects around the house, “I’ve always enjoyed being challenged,” she remembers.
That love of a challenge is what excited Jenna about technology in property management in the first place. “The leadership, learning about tech infrastructure and the huge opportunity for growth and development all pointed me to accepting the role.”
Her music instructor instilled that ‘Perfect practice makes perfect,’ which taught Jenna how to use foundational tools like practicing slower, simpler or in shorter parts to conquer difficult pieces of music. Now, she uses this same technique to break down and solve technology infrastructure problems.
In her role, Jenna manages various projects, working closely with clients and providers on getting their buildings structurally ready for things like wi-fi or wireless capabilities. Educating clients is also a big part of what Jenna does in her day-to-day. She spent years teaching classical music – an experience that gave her the foundation to master explaining difficult subject matter to clients.

JLL’s community and culture is something Jenna experiences everyday as she builds relationships across the organization and confirms that she made the right decision in joining JLL. The efforts made by corporate and local offices to build community and connections amongst each other are impressive, and Jenna loves participating.
While Jenna will never totally leave the music community – she still performs whenever she can – she’s found another home at JLL that provides her with the challenges and growth – and the security – that she’s been looking for. Sounds like the perfect score.
