Winning the Champions of Excellence (COE) award was one of the most emotionally charged events in my life.  I was humbled to share the stage with the other winners, both past and current, as well as my family, at home and at work.  It is rare in business that we have the privilege of sharing a moment like the COE with all of the people we love at the same time.

Knowing the award came from my peers, rewarding ethics, excellence, teamwork, all which I strive to promote, was very enriching.  Having my family witness the award in front of over 1500 people whom I admire, was so incredibly satisfying, endearing, and comforting.  I will likely look back at receiving the JLL Champion of Excellence as the absolute apex of my career.  Every year I look forward to witnessing the award, and seeing others feel the way I did in 2018.

It’s a very overwhelming, very emotional award. When you see and hear the words of colleagues, clients and family, you can’t feel anything except absolutely humbled. It truly was one of the most unique moments of my life because it’s also one of the few times you can share your life’s work with your family and they see you as your colleagues and clients see you. In many ways, it’s the culmination of your career and validates your dedication to work in this business and, more importantly, to work at JLL.
