- Compared to 2009, the current footprint of Manhattan’s tech firms occupying 100k s.f. or larger has grown by 14.7M s.f. representing the fastest-growing industry segment in that timeframe.
- Today, Google has the largest tech presence occupying 6.8M s.f. in the Meatpacking District and Hudson Square. Facebook recently executed three leases totaling 1.5M s.f. at the Hudson Yards bringing its aggregate occupied space to 2.8M s.f.
- Recent leases by Uber and Spotify demonstrate the World Trade Center’s attractiveness and geographic diversification of these tenants across Manhattan’s submarkets and micro markets.
