- The markets with the higher minimum wages show up in pockets along the coasts – the Bay Area leads the pack, with Seattle, Long Island, and Boston following close behind. These markets are shown in dark green on the map.
- Over half of the markets we track are below the $15 mark for mean hourly entry wage. Much of these markets are centered in the South and Midwest – San Antonio, Tampa Bay, and Orlando fall to the bottom of the list. These markets are shown in red.
