Developers are busy in Downtown Indy

- If it feels like there is a lot of construction going on when visiting Downtown Indianapolis, you would be correct. In fact, over $3.5 billion has been or is planned to be invested into downtown Indy real estate since 2017.
- Development is occurring across many property types. Of the 38 major projects that have been completed or announced in the last year, six different sectors are represented. The current count includes 12 multi-family projects, 11 mixed-use properties, seven hotels, three office buildings, three student housing developments, and one data center.
- Activity is occurring throughout the Downtown area, but Mass Ave to the northeast and the Wholesale District to the south are popular areas.
