Carmel, Indiana receives national distinctions
September 25, 2018
- Carmel, Indiana has received two high rankings on national publications. The city ranked as the best suburb in the nation on Business Insider’s “2018 Best Suburbs to Live in America.” In the same week, Carmel also ranked third on MONEY magazine’s “50 Best Places to Live” for 2018. These high rankings are largely credited to Carmel’s high household income, low crime rates, and good schools.
- With such high livability, it isn’t surprising that the North Meridian/Carmel office submarket is one of the strongest in the metro Indianapolis area. It consistently has one of the highest asking rates and lowest vacancy rates.
- Development has also picked up recently with new construction projects such as the MJ Building in Midtown Carmel and the new headquarters for Adesa/KAR on North Meridian. Several speculative projects could break ground in the coming months as well.
