Atlanta’s industrial rental rates are up 5.8% year-over-year, now at $4.20 per square foot

- Atlanta’s industrial rental rates are up 5.8% year-over-year, now at $4.20 per square foot.
- Rental rates in buildings sized 30,000 s.f. to 75,000 s.f. have the highest asking rate, averaging $5.78 per square foot whereas inventory 1.0 million square feet and larger are averaging $3.42 per square foot.
- Inventory sized from 250,000 s.f. to 500,000 s.f. has achieved the highest rental rate growth for the past three quarters. Year-over-year growth in this size segment has averaged 30% since Q4 2018. Buildings sized from 75,000 s.f. to 150,000 s.f. are achieving the second highest growth rate, up 13.0% year-over-year. While the highest rates are in the smallest size segment, the 30,000 s.f. to 75,000 s.f. range, they are achieving the lowest rental rate growth, up only 2.85% year-over-year.
