With several large-scale development proposals on the horizon in both Cupertino and Santa Clara, construction could pick up as long as no auxiliary issues arise. The nature of leasing to new projects has changed; developers are opting to target large, single tenant ‘whales’ over a more numerous, relatively unstable tenant mix.
