GE revised their plan to build a new 293,000-square-foot home, instead opting to occupy and sell their soon-to-be headquarters at 5 Necco St along with the unbuilt portion to help refund their relocation incentive package. Parkside on A, slated to go spec this spring, appears to be garnering interest from lab developers. Both signify the shifting mindset of developers, who see that the high land and construction costs can be offset by the lab rents that are achievable in the current environment.
