Career summary
Whitaker is a senior managing director in the Dallas office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He joins JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and has more than 19 years of experience in commercial real estate. He specializes in highly structured transactions that include mezzanine financing and/or equity placements coupled with a traditional first loan. Over the course of his career, Whitaker has completed in excess of $5 billion in commercial real estate transactions.
Whitaker started at HFF in February 1995. Before that, he was a vice president with Lomas Management, which oversaw multiple mortgage REIT’s traded on the New York Stock Exchange.
