Current responsibilities   
Tom Griffin is an International Managing Director with responsibility for developing and nurturing the most important client relationships for the firm nationwide.

Expanding on this role, he was appointed Head of Account Management for Investor Services in 2002 and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Investor Services group, which oversees 425 professionals.

Experience
Tom has been with JLL for 28 years, serving in a variety of capacities. First and foremost, he has provided leadership for the client services team for the past 13 years with overall responsibility for client relationships and specific responsibility for assignment performance.

In this capacity, he works closely with a number of the firm’s largest clients, most notably acting as the National TIAA-CREF, JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley Relationship Manager. Mr. Griffin also spearheaded the creation of a new client-centric service delivery platform to provide our most important clients with a dedicated account management team.

Prior to his client-focused responsibilities, Tom was the Regional Manager for the Mid-Atlantic region, comprised of a five-state area. In this role, he was responsible for the development of strategic asset plans and the coordination of all management and leasing professionals.

Additionally, during his tenure at JLL, he had strategic management responsibilities for such mixed-use trophy assets as Union Station in Washington, D.C., where he played a key role in the redevelopment and revitalization efforts; the Daily News Building in New York, where he led a significant repositioning effort; and the LaSalle Bank Building in Chicago, where he executed a 250,000 s.f. lease.

Education 
Tom holds a bachelor of arts degree in business administration from the University of Cincinnati and has earned the designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM) from the National Institute of Real Estate.

Affiliations
He currently serves on the President’s Council of the Real Estate Roundtable in Washington, D.C. He has previously served as President of the Cincinnati chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Managers (IREM) and as a judge for the International Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) awards.
