Tim Fries is a Vice President with JLL’s Project and Development Services group in Louisville, KY. His clients include those in the fields of commercial office, retail, and industrial. Tim’s construction background and experience in managing complex projects make him a consultant his clients can trust with their construction assignments from design to move-in.
With over 29 years of experience, Tim has spent his professional career operating highly rated general contracting and construction management firms. Previously, he was Executive Vice President in charge of USA operations for Canadian owned Jamesway Construction, Inc., an international construction management firm. Prior to Jamesway, he served as Vice President for Louisville based Derek Engineering, Inc., where his knowledge in estimating, negotiating, project management, sales, budgeting, compliance and administration guided the company to an annual top ten rating in the local metropolitan market.
In addition to his construction and project management experience, he operated a property, service and management consulting firm that reviewed client administrative practices, audited client policies for federal, state and local compliance and implemented loss prevention measures for small businesses and non-profit organizations.

Education and Affiliations
Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Louisville. Tim is also a member of the Construction Management Association of America.
