Markets Group Current responsibilities
Mr. Froot is responsible for the management and supervision of all management operations, tenant services, contract services, engineering/maintenance and administrative activities for Jones Lang LaSalle’s South Florida portfolio. Mr. Froot interfaces directly with all clients in the implementation of the acquisition, asset management, and disposition functions of their business plans.
Experience
Before obtaining the position of Director of Operations, Mr. Froot served as the Group Manager overseeing the management offices responsible for 18 properties totaling over 6 million square feet.  Mr. Froot was directly responsible for overall performance of the portfolio.  He personally interfaced with the client and executed all phases of the assets’ life cycle:  acquisition / start-up, lease-up and management, and disposition.

In 2007, Mr. Froot was responsible for all operational aspects of the proposed redevelopment project for the Orange Bowl Stadium in Miami, Florida including; parking operations, safety and security, game day staffing training and development, concessions operations, housekeeping services, alternative revenue sources and tenant relations.
Mr. Froot held key leadership roles for Huizenga Holdings for over ten years, including General Manager for SunLife Stadium. In that capacity, he was responsible for the overall operational and fiscal success of the nation’s premier sports and entertainment venue. Mr. Froot has been instrumental in the success of numerous high profile sporting and entertainment events including Super Bowls XXIX and XXXIII, the 1997 World Series, two NCAA National Championship football games as well as major stadium concerts. He has demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategies that have contributed to the stadium receiving the “Champions of Industry” award presented annually to the best facility in the country. During Mr. Froot’s tenure at the facility guest survey ratings (good/excellent) rose from 72.5% to 95%. He provided leadership and direction to event staff (3,500 people), set goals, monitored all activities and ensured corporate standards were maintained.
Education and affiliations
Mr. Froot earned his Master’s degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University and his Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University.
He is a licensed Real Estate professional in the State of Florida and a member of the South Florida chapter of NAIOP and BOMA. He is a former member of SMA (Stadium Managers Association) and IAAM (International Association of Assembly Managers).
