Current Responsibilities
Shalin Patel is a Vice President in the Los Angeles office and a member of JLL’s Hotel Investment Sales and Hotel Investment Banking teams with more than eight years of experience in commercial real estate finance. He is primarily responsible for originating and executing debt & equity transactions for hotel and resort properties throughout the United States.
Experience
Mr. Patel has worked on financings for a variety of hotels and resorts around North America as well as for publicly-traded REITs, Hotel C-Corps, and travel & leisure companies.
Positions
Previously, Mr. Patel worked for Wells Fargo’s Commercial Real Estate Division within the Hospitality Finance Group, covering Hotel REITs as well as hotel-oriented private equity sponsors and developers. Prior to joining the Hospitality Finance Group, Mr. Patel was an analyst within the REIT Finance Group, where he covered the public REIT space.
Education
Mr. Patel received his BSBA from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
