Current Responsibilities

Randy is the Market Leader for JLL’s Property Management business and chairs the Office Investor Services Executive Committee in the Atlanta Region including Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi. He is also the co-leader of the US Global Premium Services Group, an international group of JLL property management experts. Randy oversees solutions development and client service for a 75 million sq. foot portfolio in the mid-South. The solutions and strategy Randy and his team provide draw upon Randy's experience in development, asset management and investment as well as JLL's emphasis on technology and adaptation strategies related to the changing real estate investment landscape. Randy currently works with 46 key investors in office, mixed-use, historic and industrial assets as well as occupiers of corporate facilities.

Previous experience

Randy joined JLL in 2013 as the Regional Manager for the Carolinas which includes Raleigh-Durham, Charlotte, Greenville-Spartanburg, and Charleston. Randy transferred with JLL to Atlanta in 2016. Before joining JLL, Randy led Real Estate Asset Management and Acquisitions for Harris Teeter Supermarkets. In this capacity, Randy directed multiple areas of Harris Teeter’s real estate portfolio in 8 states plus DC, including owned assets and investments, lease administration, property management, and surplus properties with an emphasis on joint ventures. Prior to Harris Teeter, he worked for large regional developers focused on new investments, property management, project management and brokerage. Randy's emphasis on strategy and solutions development includes six years of planning leadership in Charlotte, first as the Chair of the Zoning Board of Adjustment, then as the Chair of the Planning Committee of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Planning Commission. Randy’s interdisciplinary leadership experience includes leading a consulting team in China for a site selection project and working in senior staff roles with US Senate and US Congressional campaigns. Randy started his career in technology project management at Bank of America where he led the user experience discipline for the bank’s first commercial internet software developed in-house.

Education and affiliations

Randy received his BA in History and Public Policy Studies from Duke University and his MBA in Finance and Real Estate Development from UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. He currently volunteers with ULI on Atlanta’s Technical Advisory Panel Steering Committee and with NAIOP. In addition, Randy serves as an elected member of the Atlanta Public School’s GO Team for MES, as a lay leader at Trinity Anglican Mission, and has worked with Childspring International as a host family.
