Market Director, Southwest Region
As Market Director, Peter Belisle is charged with overseeing the firm’s business across the Southwest region, which includes Las Vegas, the Los Angeles area, Orange County, Phoenix, and San Diego.
Business lines under Peter’s direction include tenant representation, agency leasing, project management, and a property and facilities management portfolio of 62 million square feet.
Peter is committed to retaining, attracting and rewarding the best people in the industry, fostering enduring client relationships and diversity at all levels of the firm with energy management and environmental sustainability services key long-term objectives for the region.
Peter joined JLL in 2000 from The Walt Disney Company where he served as the Director of Development and Program Management with responsibility for more than $230 million of international development.
Most recently, Peter served as the President of JLL's Energy and Sustainability Services overseeing more than 90 professionals in the U.S.
Prior to that, he served as the President of JLL's Project and Development Services group overseeing more than 1,200 project managers responsible for assignments with an aggregate construction value of more than $20 billion.
Peter’s leadership in driving sustainable savings was demonstrated with his team in such projects as the 58-story Bank of America Tower in New York, the world’s first skyscraper to achieve LEED Gold certification.
He also was active in a partnership with the Clinton Climate Initiative to help drive a $500 million renovation of the iconic Empire State Building that is expected to generate $4.4 million annually in energy savings.
Peter specializes in implementing opportunities such as energy-saving practices and space optimization to drive the highest financial and sustainable return for the lowest capital investment.
He also continues to chair the national specialty practice committees for the firm’s Project and Development Services group.
Peter received an M.B.A. in real estate and finance from The Anderson School at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), as well as a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from UCLA.
He is registered as an Engineer in Training, is a Council Member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), an active member of the real estate alumni group of UCLA Anderson Business School, ICSC and CoreNet Global.
