Current Responsibilities
Based in Tampa, Paul provides agency leasing, tenant representation, development consulting, and acquisition and disposition services for clients in Florida. Paul maintains strong retailer and developer relationships on a national, regional and local level. He has represented a variety of clients ranging from local retailers, to developers, to institutional owners.
Experience
With more than 30 years of retail real estate experience, Paul brings enthusiasm and experience to facilitate client-focused success. Paul specializes in market entry strategies, site selection and development.
Prior to joining JLL, Paul served as First Vice President, retail brokerage at CBRE where he represented institutional owners, tenants and developers. He also held positions at Casto as COO for Florida Development and the Florida Retail Development Partner at Trammell Crow Company.
Paul has deep retail transaction experience that includes national and regional tenants like Macy’s, JC Penney, Publix, Winn Dixie, Bealls, Ross Stores, Lowe’s, TJ Maxx, Panera Bread, White House Black Market, Chili’s, Staples, Home Depot, and Starbucks.
Education and Affiliations
Paul attended the University of South Florida. He holds a real estate license in Florida and has held them in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. Paul has been recognized as the Pompano Chamber of Commerce’s Man of the Year, as well as receiving awards that include the American Planning Association’s Design Award, the National Research Bureau’s Retail Marketing Award, Business of the Year for the City Centre Project in Winter Haven, Florida as well as ICSC SIG Leader for two years consecutively.
He is currently serving his second term on the Manatee County Planning and Zoning Board. He is a Charter Member of BOMA, Palm Beach County; and acted as Co-Chairman of Sarasota Manatee’s ICSC Speaker Committee and State Operations Chairman of Florida’s ICSC chapter. Paul sat on the Dominican Republic Development Board and was a former Board Member of the Florida Redevelopment Association.
He also holds the following designations: ICSC Senior Certified Leasing Specialist (SCLS), ICSC Certified Real Estate Executive and ICSC Shopping Center Senior Manager (SCSM).
