​​Current responsibilities
As a Vice President of Project and Development Services in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Nick is responsible for the operations of the local Project Management Team along with directional management of all local projects.  Project management responsibilities include strategic planning and implementation of development and project processes.  Strategic planning includes managing entitlements, zoning and permitting processes as well as conceptual design and estimating in order to find optimal real estate solutions for clients.  Project implementation encompasses proper planning, design, value engineering, budgeting, scheduling, construction, quality control and completion/turn-over of client projects.

The smooth flow and coordination of the team members to remain on schedule, within budget, and maintaining the desired quality and effect are his responsibility.  Nick assists the client in integrating the design team, contractor(s), furniture, IT, security, A/V, along with others for a complete and successful project.

15 years

Nick has been employed with JLL for four years and in that time has managed and delivered over 2M square feet of projects of varying project types valued at USD $375M for UnitedHealth Group.  Projects range from a 1M square foot campus development to corporate interiors, building infrastructure upgrades, technology fit-outs and lab relocations.  Nick has also led the Twin Cities Campus team of project managers that executes approximately $25M in projects and moves over 2,000 employees across the campus annually.

With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Nick has worked in a variety of sectors including medical, industrial, office and retail.  Prior to joining JLL, he had experience with general contractors and construction management firms in Minnesota and California.  Notable clients included UnitedHealth Group, Oppenheimer, Wolff & Donnelly; United Properties; Kaiser Permanente; Gateway Computers; and Trizec Properties.
