Current Responsibilities

Mort Schrader is a Managing Director of New York Operations in the Leasing Group of Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. where he is responsible for all aspects of leasing transactions including tenant representation and landlord agency leasing and marketing. Mr. Schrader remains a major force in the commercial real estate world.

Experience

Mort Schrader has more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate, acquiring extensive knowledge of the industry. During his career Mr. Schrader has completed in excess of 325 commercial transactions.

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Schrader served as principal and founding partner of PBS Real Estate LLC, a commercial real estate boutique specializing in senior-level strategic services and retail representation.

Earlier, he served as an executive managing director at Newmark & Company Real Estate Inc., where he was responsible for key corporate and institutional client accounts. He also worked with Koeppel Tener Riguardi and was a vice chairman at SL Green Realty.

Prior to his career in real estate, Schrader served for 25 years as president of a large publicly traded apparel-manufacturing company. He served on the Board of Trustees of the Fashion Institute of Technology for 25 years and as a director on the Board of Trustees of Continuum Partners, which includes Beth Israel and Roosevelt St. Luke's Hospitals, for five years. He was a member of the board of directors of Cache, a women's apparel retail chain, where he served for more than 20 years.

Education

Mort Schrader received a bachelor's degree from Long Island University.

He is a licensed real estate broker in the state of New York and a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
