Current Responsibilities
Mitch Marcus is a Senior Managing Director and the lead broker for the Philadelphia CBD market. In addition to providing expert brokerage services to owners and occupiers, Mitch focuses on developing and pursuing new business to continue expanding JLL’s market share in the CBD. Mitch specializes in delivering creative lease strategies for clients including lease restructuring, occupancy cost reduction and alternative workplace concepts.
Experience
Mitch brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience to JLL. During his tenure, he has provided strategic consulting and effective real estate solutions for numerous high-profile clients and completed more than 250 transactions in the Philadelphia market.
Mitch previously served as a Senior Vice President for CBRE, where he provided landlord and tenant representation advisory services to a number of clients including the Janney Montgomery Scott, Independence Blue Cross, Eckert Seamans, and Sovereign Bank.
Mitch began his career in New York City, where he served as a real estate advisor and completed over 1 million s.f. of leasing transactions from 1991-1998.
Education and Affiliations
Mitch majored in business and marketing at the University of Maryland. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and a member of the Tri-State Commercial and Industrial Association of Realtors.
