Current Responsibilities
Mike Borling is a Senior Vice President and brings to JLL over 3.5 million square feet of agency listings. His team will focus on growing the Orlando Brokerage Business with an emphasis on expanding agency relationships.
Experience
Mike has 30 years of experience in industrial real estate. Before joining JLL, he was the Broker of Record and Director of Leasing for EastGroup Properties Services of Florida, LLC for 15 years. He was part of the team that grew the portfolio from 5 buildings totalling 347,000 square feet to 47 buildings totaling 3.65 million square feet.
He was involved in the development and leasing of 3 industrial parks, including 6 buildings in the Sunport Center totaling 372,199 square feet, 12 buildings in the Southridge Commerce Park totaling 1,205,424 million square feet, and recently completed leasing for EastGroup on the last building in the Horizon Commerce Park, which has 12 buildings totaling 1,456,450 square feet of warehouse space.
Education and Affiliations
Mike holds a degree from the University of Florida and was a member of the 1975 SEC Championship Tennis Team. Mike has been recognized by the Central Florida Commercial Real Estate Society as a top producer on multiple occasions throughout his career.
