Current responsibilities
Based in JLL's Chicago headquarters, Michael supports leaders of organizations by providing them clarity on how to to build world class environments in which to grow their business. Michael builds the teams required to deliver industry leading service for Chicago based companies and for firms with a global reach.
Michael provides strategic planning, financial advisory and transaction execution services to occupiers of commercial real estate, including Fortune 500 corporations, middle-market companies, nonprofit organizations and government agencies. Michael helps clients translate their business strategies and financial objectives into real estate value creation opportunities.
Experience
Previously Michael gained analytical and financial expertise as a senior management consultant in Arthur Andersen's financial advisory group, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, corporate budgeting, and organizational change. Over the past 10+ years, Michael has managed more than 3 million square feet real estate transactions, and received two "Excellence Awards" from the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties and was nominated for the Chicago Commercial Real Estate Awards' "Office Deal of the Year." Education and affiliations
Michael holds a B.S.B.A in Finance & Economics from John Carroll University. He currently sits on the Executive Committee of Lyric Opera of Chicago and is an active member in a number of real estate organizations. Michael and his wife Megan reside in Lincoln Park with their children Riley (5), Reese (3) and Charlie (1).
