Current Responsibilities
Matt focuses his real estate practice on advising end users with their facilities needs and long term strategy. He brings over ten years of experience working on behalf of landlords and tenants alike. Matt has developed a reputation for his customer service mentality and problem-solving approach to transactions. He has worked extensively with a vast array of clients, including technology companies, law firms, and medical and life science related organizations.
Experience
A recent addition to the JLL Raleigh team, Matt joined the company in 2019 following a seven year tenure at Tri Properties, Inc., where he worked as a Vice President on the Asset Leasing and Corporate Service Division. In this capacity, Matt was responsible for leasing a portfolio of approximately 5M SF of both office and industrial space, working on behalf of institutional and private investors alike as well as on behalf of numerous tenant representation clients. Matt has received numerous awards for his professional accomplishments, including being named a Costar Power Broker in multiple years and the Rising Star Award in 2012 from the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors.
Education and Affiliations
Matt graduated from North Carolina State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from the Poole College of Management with Cum Laude honors. He is active within numerous industry organizations, including his service on the Board of Directors for NAIOP and TRAOBA. Matt is a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina and a graduate of The Leadership Trust.
