Current Responsibilities

Larry is Executive Vice President and Senior Director for JLL business development's national platform. His primary focus is developing and fostering client relationships, working directly with investor clients and Retail's client service teams to evaluate investment opportunities and to implement strategies that maximize asset value.  Additionally, Larry plays an instrumental role in providing strategic guidance to national development team members responsible for project management and development services for ground-up projects, redevelopments and renovations, overseeing efforts to secure deals and manage relationships with the anchor stores, theatres and big box tenants.


Larry has been in the shopping center industry for more than 30 years, with experience in management, operations, development, marketing and leasing.  During his tenure at JLL, Larry served as the Executive Vice President of Development, Property Management, Operations, Marketing, Specialty Leasing, as well as the Client Relationship Manager for the Gregory Greenfield & Associates and Morgan Stanley portfolios.  His responsibilities included working directly with the clients to ensure an understanding of investment objectives and development of property-specific strategic plans and operating and capital budgets. 

Throughout his career, Larry has also provided executive oversight for many renovations, redevelopments and repositioning of shopping centers.  He has successfully worked directly with clients to identify opportunities and execute strategies to maximize a center's potential.

Prior to joining JLL, Larry was General Manager of several properties as well as a Midwest Regional Management Director with Homart Development Company, based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.  He also worked for Sears, Roebuck & Company as a Division Manager.

Education and Affiliations

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh, Larry earned a bachelor of science degree in administrative management.  Additionally, he holds a Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designation from the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
