Current responsibilities
Kim Jacobsen is a Managing Director of Industrial Services at JLL’s Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania office and a member of JLL’s Supply Chain & Logistics Solutions Practice group.
With a focus on supply chain-driven assets, Kim is responsible for site selection, tenant representation and the disposition of industrial real estate for clients throughout the Pennsylvania market. Her primary focus includes property marketing initiatives, strategy implementation, coordination and review of market research.
Experience
Kim began her career at JLL in January 2009. At JLL, Kim has worked on behalf of national and regional development companies, such as ProLogis, Liberty Property Trust, Industrial Income Trust, DCT Industrial, Founders Properties, J.G. Petrucci, and Cohen Asset Management, Inc.
She has also worked on behalf of numerous corporations as well, and counts Allen Distribution, Sharp Corporation, Whirlpool, KeHE Distributors, Trane (Ingersoll-Rand), MetLife, NutriSystem, Iron Mountain, and Warehouse Services, Inc. among her many current and past clients.
As a member of JLL’s Supply Chain and Logistics Solutions Practice Group, Kim specializes in real estate assets/transaction of a supply chain nature and participates in additional training initiatives to maintain an expertise in supply chain-driven real estate.
Prior to joining JLL, Kim was a real estate director with Opus East and responsible for the Pennsylvania development portfolio. She successfully entitled over 2 million square feet of warehouse and industrial space in the Lehigh Valley and was involved in several successful industrial B-T-S projects. Prior to joining Opus East, Kim worked with the former industrial real estate investment trust , Keystone Property Trust (KTR), developing the company’s national marketing platform and new client relationships.
Kim has been recognized multiple times as a CoStar Power Broker for her professional achievements as a broker with JLL.
Education and affiliations
Kim graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
Kim serves by appointment on the Doylestown Borough Historical and Architectural Review Board and the Doylestown Borough Planning Commission. She is also active in fundraising efforts for several charitable organizations in the central Bucks area.
Kim has been an active participant at Lehigh University’s Center for Value Chain Research symposiums, Penn State’s Hadley-Waters Supply Chain symposium, and has spoken on several panels regarding industrial development.
Kim completed CSCMP’s SCM 202, a two-day certificate level course designed and administered by CSCMP exclusively for JLL’s Supply Chain and Logistics Solutions Group.
Kim is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals. She is a current board member of the Lehigh Valley Roundtable and a past board member of the Delaware Valley Roundtable.
Kim is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and a mentor in the JLL Mentor-Protégé Program.
