Current responsibilities
Julie Miller is a Senior Vice President of JLL’s Location Economics Practice.
Julie represents clients from all industry sectors in site selection, incentives negotiation, reporting and compliance. Julie is JLL’s practice expert in incentive realization post the initial incentive award. She has professionally managed a multitude of projects including multiple headquarter relocations, large scale manufacturing and distribution, food and beverage, financial services, technology, and regional back office operations.
Experience
Julie has been working in the commercial real estate industry since 2003. Her real estate development and management background provide a unique ability to effectively manage projects from start to finish. She manages the practice group’s incentive compliance efforts which focuses on the implementation of complex incentive programs nationwide. Julie’s work helps ensure JLL’s clients maximize the ability to recognize the maximum value of incentives awarded by state and local jurisdictions. She excels in managing multiple incentive programs simultaneously resulting in reducing the complexity associated with various categories of tax and non-tax incentives. Julie works effectively with critical departments required for post incentive award management including tax, HR, legal, real estate, upper management, and operations.
Prior to joining JLL, Julie was with The Staubach Company and Staubach Retail Services for several years. Her previous experience also includes roles in accounting and auditing.
Education and affiliations
Julie Miller holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree from Dallas Baptist University and has completed graduate classes in economics at The University of Oklahoma. She is a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT) and has an active Texas real estate license.
