Joel St. John
Joel St. John serves as Vice President with JLL’s team in Fort Worth. He takes a client-oriented, goal-focused approach to solving real estate challenges for clients in North Texas. Through educating clients and providing practical solutions, his clients continue to achieve success in their business goals and real estate investments. He focuses on building relationships with corporate clients, healthcare providers and investment groups.
With over a decade in commercial real estate, Joel has worked with many clients across a variety of property types. Prior to joining JLL’s brokerage team, he was a commercial real estate appraiser valuing over $1.5 billion of assets in Virginia and Texas. In addition to helping clients, he’s served as a guest lecturer at Virginia Tech and as a panel speaker for regarding green construction and its effects on property value.
Joel earned a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship. He participated in a student exchange program at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo his junior year.
Professionally, he’s completed the education and experience necessary to earn the MAI designation and the CCIM designation—two of the most recognized credentials within the commercial real estate industry.
Joel currently serves as a chair for the North Texas Chapter of the CCIM Institute. He’s also a member of the Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth and the Appraisal Institute. Outside of real estate, you can often find Joel staying active along the Trinity River with his wife and bird dog.
