Current Responsibilities

Jason Schwartzenberg is an executive vice president in JLL’s New York office. He is responsible for new business development and tenant representation services in the New York Metropolitan area.  Mr. Schwartzenberg joined JLL in 2014.


With 15 years of experience in New York metropolitan-area commercial real estate, Mr. Schwartzenberg has developed expertise in tenant representation for technology companies, finance and professional services firms.

Prior to joining JLL, Schwartzenberg served as corporate managing director with Studley Inc., where he was responsible for new business development, tenant representation services and market research. His clients included First Investors, Herzfeld & Rubin, Thomas Publishing, theladders.com, jibe, Weildinger Associates and Wellington Shields.

Earlier, he was a business development manager with Torry Harris Business Solutions. Before that, he was involved in business development for five years for a number of early-stage technology companies in San Francisco and New York, including Telco Communications, Digital Commerce and InterWorld Corporation.

In 2006, Mr. Schwartzenberg was honored with a CoStar Power Broker Award. He was featured as a Real Estate Weekly Rising Star in 2007 and as a Real Estate Weekly All-Star in 2008. Mr. Schwartzenberg completed transactions in 2009 and 2010 that were ranked among the top 50 leases in Manhattan by Crain’s New York Business.

Representative assignments include:

  • Regeneron Pharmaceuticals: Multiple projects in excess of 1M s.f. - expansions, relocations, build-to-suits in Tarrytown, NY & Northern, NJ.

  • The Louis Berger Group: Relocations and consolidations totaling 100,000 s.f. in multiple locations in New York and New Jersey

  • Quartet Health:  32,000-s.f. Relocation to 114 W 41st

  • Alphadyne Asset Management:  29,386 – s.f. Lease restructure and expansion at 17 State Street

  • The Children's Aid Society:  29,000-s.f. - relocation to 711 Third Avenue

  • Global Infrastructure Partners: 42,300 –s.f. – relocation to 1345 Avenue of the Americas

  • Atalaya Capital Management:  9,825-s.f.- Lease renewal at 780 Third Avenue.

  • Epicept Pharmaceuticals:  10,000-s.f.- relocation from NJ to Westchester NY.


Mr. Schwartzenberg earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Johnson & Wales University. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and a licensed real estate broker in the state of New York. Mr. Schwartzenberg regularly participates in charity events organized by New York Cares.
