Current Responsibilities:
Jaime joined the Global Risk Advisory as the Head of ESG & Risk for the Americas, based in New York City. In this role he helps clients providing strategic advice to drive Real Estate returns and mitigate potential risks through Sustainability solutions. He works with investors and lenders globally, collaborating closely with other Global Risk Advisory members and Sustainability professionals across EMEA and the Americas. He also serves as a bridge between the Capital Markets Group and the Sustainability Consulting services, participating in transactions from an ESG angle.
Experience:
Prior to this role, Jaime was part of the Capital Markets Team in the New York Office, where he focused mainly on investment sales. Originally from Madrid, Spain, Jaime joined JLL in 2016, having been part of the Valuations Advisory for over 6 years. Within his role, he was sector agnostic and has provided asset and portfolio advisory across several markets, for both private and institutional investors.
As part of the EMEA Valuations Team he has since worked in numerous locations including Madrid, Brussels and Luxembourg until 2022. In addition to his main role as the Director of Valuations in Luxembourg, Jaime participated in the creation of the ESG Champion network in Europe, taking the Belux ESG lead during 2021 and 2022.
Jaime has also broad experience in Portfolio Advisory, having worked on Non-Performing-Loans with the Capital Markets Quants Team for over two years. Jaime started his career at Banco Santander as an in-house Business Consultant, having worked in the German cities of Frankfurt and Düsseldorf, from 2011 to 2015.
