Career Summary
Griffin Guthneck is a member of Real Estate Investment Banking (REIB) group, which is part of the Jones Lang LaSalle Capital Markets Group. Griffin joined the REIB group in July of 2010 and, as a Vice President, focuses on managing client and lender relationships, marketing transactions of all property types, and underwriting debt and equity transactions.
As a member of the REIB practice, Mr. Guthneck has successfully placed both debt and equity for multiple commercial property types including office, retail, multifamily (conventional/market rate and student housing), and self-storage. The REIB practice incorporates debt/equity origination, investment sales, loan/note sales, advisory services, loan workouts and modification, and asset resolution services. Mr. Guthneck and the REIB practice focuses on sourcing capital for owners of real estate as well as keeping existing owner and lender clients apprised of the evolving capital markets.
Griffin has experience in structuring and arranging debt, equity joint ventures, participating debt and other structured finance transactions. Other experience includes credit tenant lease financing, build-to-suit financing, and dispositions of institutional quality real estate.
