Gabriel Brown is based out of the JLL West Los Angeles office in Century City. Active in Los Angeles area commercial real estate for over 18 years, Gabe’s accomplished background includes all forms of landlord, tenant and investment related assignments, with a special emphasis in creative office leasing and development. Gabe has extensive experience with exclusively representing landlords on some of the most well-known and iconic office properties in the Los Angeles area, including (W)rapper – Los Angeles’ first 16-story creative office tower currently under construction in the Culver City area.
With a skilled and dedicated involvement in every aspect of the transaction process, Gabe has built a first-rate industry reputation of enhancing client asset strategy with exceptional market knowledge, resilient negotiating skills, inventive marketing tactics and an acute attention to detail. Gabe’s understanding of complex transactional intrinsics along with his ability to carefully address client needs across multiple platforms, have earned him many long-term relationships with owners, principals and executives in the investment and development community, as well as tenants in a vast array of industries. During the course of his career, he has negotiated and completed leasing and sales transactions collectively valued at over $1 billion on behalf of institutional and private clients.
Prior to Jones Lang LaSalle, Gabe served as Senior Vice President at First Property Realty Corporation, where he focused on the representation of Landlords and Tenants across the westside of Los Angeles. Gabe began his career as an Associate Vice President at Scudder Investments, where he was responsible for managing strategic development for a $5 billion asset-backed and fixed-income portfolio investment team.
Gabe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Agribusiness with a psychology minor from Cal Poly Tech, San Luis Obispo, and studied international business overseas at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Gabe is a member of the Los Angeles Commercial Realty Association (LACRA) and an active donor at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
