Eric R. Groffman primarily focuses on strategic ownership representation in Miami Dade County. Known as one of the top dealmakers in South Florida, Eric advises some of the most sophisticat-ed institutional investors in the world, providing strategic consulting, marketing and negotiation expertise that helps protect and enhance the value of investors’ office holdings. His current and past clients include Ponte Gadea, Bridge Investment Group, Sumitomo Corporation of America, Rockpoint Group, Parkway Properties, Tishman Speyer, TA Associates, KBS Realty Advisors, JP Morgan, Blackstone, EOP, LaSalle Investment Management, Crescent Real Estate Equities and Morgan Stanley.
Eric currently oversees the marketing and leasing of the premier Class A office buildings located in Miami’s Central Business District: Southeast Financial Center (1.22M square-foot, 55-stories) and Museum Tower (243,166 square-foot, 39-stories). Additional notable properties in his leasing portfolio include the Courvoisier Centre and 1221 Brickell, based in the Brickell submarket; Flagler Station, a three-office building park in Medley; and The Offices at Doral Square, located blocks away from downtown Doral.
Prior to rejoining JLL, Eric achieved successive recognitions as an agency leasing professional for nine years at Transwestern, where he earned numerous Top Producer and New Business procurement achievement awards. He has led successful leasing efforts at numerous notable assets such as Miami Center, Douglas Entrance, Colonnade and The Alhambra. During his 18-year career and counting, Eric continues to help investors achieve their ambitions through smart investment in South Florida commercial real estate.
Education and Affiliations
Having graduated with honors, Eric earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami. There, he earned the prestigious Bowman F. Ashe scholarship, an academic honor bestowed on select students. Eric is a licensed real estate salesperson in the State of Florida.
