Ms. Lustig is an Investment Sales Vice President within JLL's Hotels & Hospitality Group and is based in Chicago. As part of the Midwest Investment Sales team, Ms. Lustig assists in hotel valuations, financial due diligence and forecasting, along with extensive marketing support. Previously, Ms. Lustig held a multifaceted role in Strategic Advisory & Asset Management, Investment Sales and Research, with advisory responsibilities included preparing quarterly and monthly asset management reports and assisting in the production of appraisals, feasibility studies and operational assessments, whereas her research responsibilities included maintaining the firm’s exclusive hotel transactions database and aiding in the production of various national and global research reports. Ms. Lustig brings more than six years of hospitality, real estate, and financial analysis experience.
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels & Hospitality Group, Ms. Lustig was an associate with HVS in Chicago where she was responsible for the preparation and execution of hospitality valuations, feasibility studies, and market studies. During her time at HVS, Ms. Lustig completed appraisals, market studies and feasibility studies that spanned 12 states and was also a part of the Marketing Global Business Team. Some notable assignments include the appraisal of the Elysian Hotel in Chicago, Fort Bragg market study (Privatized Army Lodging), feasibility study for a proposed hotel in New York City, and the portfolio appraisal of various hotels throughout Texas. In addition, Ms. Lustig gained a vast knowledge of hotel operations experience during her role as an Assistant Operations Manager with the Operations Support Resources Team at Marriott International; Ms. Lustig traveled to seven full-service Marriott properties throughout the United States during the course of one year, implementing best practices and improving daily operational efficiency.
Education and Affiliations
Ms. Lustig graduated with honors from The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Business and a specialization in Real Estate & Hotel Development. Ms. Lustig is the co-author of Hotel Sustainable Development: Principles & Best Practices, Chapter 15: Planning & Delivering Sustainable Meetings and Events, which is published by the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute.
