Doug is an expert in the Long Island commercial real estate market with 36 years of experience representing owners, occupiers and investors. He joined JLL in 2011 and is based out of the firm’s Long Island office in Melville, NY.
His areas of expertise are in the sales and leasing of industrial and office properties. To date he has completed in excess of 10 million SF of sales and leasing transactions on behalf of local, national, Fortune 500 companies, investors, and owners. Prestigious firms such as Cablevision, Iron Mountain, BAE Systems Information, The Luxottica Group, Widex USA, Harris Corporation, and Newsday Media Group are among the top companies that have relied on Doug’s expertise to guide their real estate decisions. In 2019, he represented Newsday Media Group in the relocation of their headquarters to a 130,000 SF two-building complex in Melville, N.Y.
Doug was the recipient of the “Most Ingenious Deal of The Year Award” for the successful sale of the 179,000-s.f. former Bristol Myers Squibb facility in Garden City, NY. He was as JLL “Gold Achiever” for 2019.
Doug is a graduate of Farmingdale State College and The New York Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is a member of Long Island’s Commercial Industrial Broker Society as well as a past President. Giving back to his community is a value he holds closely; he is actively involved in charitable organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island.
