As Managing Director at JLL, Chris Burns is based in Walnut Creek, California where he provides real estate advisory services to clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. In particular, Chris provides growing companies the innovative solutions they need to align their real estate needs with business objectives.
Serving as the single point of contact, Chris coordinates services from across the JLL platform including Transaction Management, Lease Administration, Strategic Consulting, Integrated Facilities Management, Project & Development Services, and Business & Economic Incentives. This vertically integrated approach allows Chris to provide his clients with a scalable, comprehensive real estate solution. His ability to understand the overall impact of each and every requirement ensures his clients real estate strategy is aligned with their long term business objectives.
Experience
Chris has been involved in commercial real estate in and around the Bay Area for the past 15 years as part of JLL’s Northern California Industrial Super Region. Chris specializes in tenant and landlord representation, the sale of leased investments, and the marketing of major office and industrial parks as well as ground-up development throughout Northern California. With his background in real estate finance, he provides expertise in financial analysis and real estate advisory. His fast-growing resume of completed transactions now covers a variety of industries including: Logistics, Distribution, Food/Beverage and Manufacturing throughout Northern California and the United States.
Education and Affiliations
Chris earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics with a concentration in Honors Finance from Saint Mary’s College of California. He played on the Lacrosse team where he was starting attack, serving as team President and a two-time captain. Chris lives in Danville, CA with his wife and three children.
