Specialty/Experience
Chris Hile, an Executive Managing Director with Jones Lang LaSalle specializes in the sale and leasing of industrial real estate in both North and Central Jersey. Chris has been involved in many of the firm’s successful agencies. He specializes in “hard work”. Chris spends much of his day canvassing tenants for many of the firm’s exclusive agencies. Chris’s first success came when marketing 100 Porete Avenue in North Arlington for AMB Property Corporation. Mr. Hile cold called the European retailer H&M who was occupying space in Secaucus. That call led to the successful long term lease of the 327,000 square foot building by H&M in December of 2003. Chris has participated in a number of other leasing successes which include Bed Bath & Beyond’s lease of 126K in Jersey City, Atlantic Plywood’s lease of 85K in Carlstadt and most recently the lease renewal for ProLogis to C&S Wholesale Grocers for 68K in Goshen, NY.
Career/History/Professional Recognition
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Chris has spent six years in Northern and Central New Jersey working with manufacturers, food and beverage, logistics and trucking companies large and small selling and servicing Caterpillar lift trucks and designing and implementing rack systems. In this highly competitive and brutal market place Chris was able to demonstrate his ability to not only retain customers but continue to generate new business by continuing through the traditional methods of prospecting, canvassing and a lot of hustle.
