Current responsibilities
Charley serves as Managing Director specializing in agency leasing in the greater Charlotte, North Carolina region.
He has a proactive agency leasing approach and treats each asset as though it is personally his own. He has exceptional expertise in the Charlotte office market and has completed hundreds of lease transactions with companies ranging in size from Fortune 500 to individuals just starting their own business.
Charley has a vast amount of experience working on behalf of building owners and developers in the leasing and implementation of value added strategies for their assets.
Experience
Charley joined JLL in 2011 with the merger of Keystone Partners. He currently represents a multitude of building owners on a portfolio of nearly a million square feet of office space.
He began his career in commercial real estate with the Bissell Companies in Charlotte in early 2000, where he managed and leased a portfolio of properties that reached approximately 3.5 million square feet of Class A office and medical space.
In his 10 years at the Bissell Companies, he gained experience in all facets of the business from property management, lease negotiations, development, building renovations, asset disposition, marketing and leasing.
Education
Charley earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Finance from the University of North Carolina - Charlotte.
Affiliations
Charley is a YMCA soccer and basketball coach and a Myers Park Trinity Little League baseball coach. He is also an active member in his church.
