Mr. Knott serves as a Vice President for Healthcare in the Capital Markets Group of JLL. He serves the firm's investor, developer and provider clients by developing and executing financial strategies and requirements for their capital and occupancy requirements related to real estate, assisting them in the evaluation and execution of deal structures to meet their economic, investment and financial objectives.
Mr. Knott has over eight years commercial real estate experience that includes acquisitions and dispositions, equity placement, debt financing, underwriting, development, portfolio and asset evaluation, relationship management, and business development. Mr. Knott has represented two nationally and internationally focused investment management platforms in the acquisition and management of $1.7 billion in commercial real estate totaling 10 million square feet, of which half was healthcare related. Mr. Knott has underwritten and developed over $200 million in ground up developments across the United States. He has the primary underwriter of a $1 billion recapitalization of the world's largest on airport logistics investment platform.
Mr. Knott served LaSalle Investment Management's Medical Office Fund II, a $300 million (equity) real estate investment fund, and the LaSalle Property Fund, a $2 billion (equity) core real estate investment fund, focusing exclusively on medical office assets. Mr. Knott worked on each investment through the entire life cycle of the property from underwriting the acquisition through the successful disposition. Prior to JLL, Mr. Knott also worked for Realterm Global's Aeroterm platform, working in business development and successfully developing over $200 million in assets under ground lease and recapitalizing their $1 billion airport logistics platform.
Mr. Knott holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a Finance Concentration from the University of Loyola in Maryland.
